Ingredients
- 2 pounds ground beef
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 cup shallot (finely diced)
- 10 ounces mushrooms (sliced)
- 1 cup demi-glace
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and cook the ground beef until browned. Set aside.
- Drain excess grease from the skillet.
- Melt butter in the same pan over medium heat.
- Add shallots and sauté for 2-3 minutes until soft.
- Incorporate mushrooms and cook for 3-4 minutes.
- Add demi-glace and bring to a boil, then let simmer for about 10 minutes.
- Pour in heavy cream, sour cream, and Dijon mustard. Add the cooked beef back into the skillet and stir until combined.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
