A quick and easy ground beef stroganoff recipe that’s creamy, hearty, and perfect for busy weeknight dinners.
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 cup sour cream
- 8 ounces egg noodles
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain any excess fat.
- Stir in the cream of mushroom soup and beef broth, mixing well.
- Let the mixture simmer for about 5 minutes, then reduce heat to low.
- Stir in the sour cream and mix until well combined.
- Add the cooked egg noodles to the skillet, stirring to coat the noodles with the sauce.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
For a lighter option, substitute ground beef with ground turkey or chicken. You can also use Greek yogurt instead of sour cream.
