Description

A quick and hearty Ground Beef Stroganoff that’s perfect for a cozy meal with minimal effort.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 cups mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Egg noodles or mashed potatoes for serving

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add the diced onion and sliced mushrooms to the skillet. Cook until the onions are translucent and mushrooms are tender.
  3. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute.
  4. Sprinkle the flour over the mixture, stirring to combine.
  5. Gradually add the beef broth, stirring until smooth.
  6. Stir in the Worcestershire sauce and season with salt and pepper.
  7. Reduce heat and mix in the sour cream, heating through without boiling.
  8. Serve over cooked egg noodles or mashed potatoes.

Notes

For variations, consider ground turkey or chicken instead of beef, and add your favorite vegetables.
