Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 2 cups mushrooms, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Egg noodles or mashed potatoes for serving
Instructions
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add the diced onion and sliced mushrooms to the skillet. Cook until the onions are translucent and mushrooms are tender.
- Stir in the minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute.
- Sprinkle the flour over the mixture, stirring to combine.
- Gradually add the beef broth, stirring until smooth.
- Stir in the Worcestershire sauce and season with salt and pepper.
- Reduce heat and mix in the sour cream, heating through without boiling.
- Serve over cooked egg noodles or mashed potatoes.
