Description

A quick and easy recipe for creamy Ground Beef Stroganoff, perfect for a cozy dinner at home.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion (diced)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 cup mushrooms (sliced)
  • 1 1/2 cups beef broth
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 3/4 cup sour cream
  • 12 oz egg noodles
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil or butter


Instructions

  1. Heat the oil or butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Cook the onion and garlic until fragrant.
  3. Add the ground beef and brown it.
  4. Stir in the mushrooms and cook until tender.
  5. Add the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and mustard; simmer for about 10 minutes.
  6. Stir in the sour cream and season with salt and pepper.
  7. Serve over the cooked egg noodles and enjoy!

Notes

Avoid browning the beef improperly, and don’t add sour cream too early to prevent curdling.
