A quick and easy recipe for creamy Ground Beef Stroganoff, perfect for a cozy dinner at home.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion (diced)
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 cup mushrooms (sliced)
- 1 1/2 cups beef broth
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 3/4 cup sour cream
- 12 oz egg noodles
- Salt & pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp olive oil or butter
Instructions
- Heat the oil or butter in a skillet over medium heat.
- Cook the onion and garlic until fragrant.
- Add the ground beef and brown it.
- Stir in the mushrooms and cook until tender.
- Add the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and mustard; simmer for about 10 minutes.
- Stir in the sour cream and season with salt and pepper.
- Serve over the cooked egg noodles and enjoy!
Notes
Avoid browning the beef improperly, and don’t add sour cream too early to prevent curdling.
