Description

A creamy, dreamy Ground Beef Stroganoff that combines comfort and flavor in an effortless weeknight meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • ½ medium onion, diced
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 ½ cups beef broth
  • 1 can (10.5 ounce) condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 package (12 ounce) egg noodles


Instructions

  1. Heat the oil in a large pot over high heat.
  2. Add the ground beef and onions. Cook until the beef is no longer pink, about 6-7 minutes.
  3. Reduce heat to medium and add the garlic. Sauté for 30 seconds.
  4. Add the flour and mix in evenly.
  5. Stir in the beef broth, cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, Worcestershire sauce, black pepper, and salt. Bring to a gentle simmer, then reduce heat to low.
  6. Cook for 4-5 minutes until sauce thickens.
  7. Cook the egg noodles according to the package directions.
  8. Serve the beef sauce over the egg noodles.
