- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Egg noodles or mashed potatoes for serving
Instructions
- In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add diced onion and sliced mushrooms to the skillet, cooking until softened.
- Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
- Sprinkle flour over the mixture and stir to combine.
- Gradually add beef broth and Worcestershire sauce, bringing the mixture to a simmer.
- Once thickened, reduce heat and stir in sour cream.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve over egg noodles or mashed potatoes.
