Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 packet of gravy mix
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 8 ounces egg noodles
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: chopped onions and mushrooms
Instructions
- Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef. If using, add chopped onions and mushrooms, cooking until softened.
- Stir in the gravy mix and cream of mushroom soup, mixing until combined.
- Reduce heat and add sour cream, stirring until heated through.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Serve the beef mixture over the cooked egg noodles.
Notes
The dish can be made ahead of time and stored in the fridge for up to three days. Freeze the beef mixture separately from the sour cream.
