A quick and easy comfort food recipe for creamy ground beef stroganoff served over egg noodles.
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 packet gravy mix
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cups egg noodles
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onion and cook until softened, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add the ground beef to the skillet. Cook until browned, stirring occasionally, and drain any excess fat.
- Stir in the gravy mix, cream of mushroom soup, and beef broth until well combined. Simmer for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Meanwhile, cook egg noodles according to package instructions.
- Once the beef mixture thickens, season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve the stroganoff over the cooked egg noodles and garnish with fresh parsley.
