Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 tbsp flour
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Wide egg noodles or rice for serving
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain any excess fat.
- Add the chopped onion and garlic to the skillet and cook until softened.
- Toss in the sliced mushrooms and sauté until they release their juices.
- Sprinkle the flour over the mixture and stir well.
- Gradually add the beef broth, stirring constantly until it thickens.
- Reduce heat and stir in sour cream and Worcestershire sauce.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve over cooked egg noodles or rice, garnishing with fresh parsley if desired.
