A rich and creamy ground beef stroganoff that’s quick and easy to make, perfect for a cozy meal.
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 8 ounces egg noodles
- 1 cup sour cream
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain any excess fat.
- Add the diced onion and minced garlic. Cook until the onions are translucent.
- Stir in the sliced mushrooms and cook for about 5 minutes until softened.
- Add the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and paprika. Season with salt and pepper. Simmer for about 10 minutes.
- Meanwhile, cook the egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Remove the skillet from heat and stir in the sour cream until well combined.
- Serve the beef mixture over the egg noodles and garnish with chopped parsley.
Notes
Feel free to swap the ground beef for turkey or a meat substitute. Best served immediately but can also be meal prepped and frozen.
