Description

A rich and creamy ground beef stroganoff that’s quick and easy to make, perfect for a cozy meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 ounces egg noodles
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • Chopped parsley for garnish


Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain any excess fat.
  2. Add the diced onion and minced garlic. Cook until the onions are translucent.
  3. Stir in the sliced mushrooms and cook for about 5 minutes until softened.
  4. Add the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and paprika. Season with salt and pepper. Simmer for about 10 minutes.
  5. Meanwhile, cook the egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  6. Remove the skillet from heat and stir in the sour cream until well combined.
  7. Serve the beef mixture over the egg noodles and garnish with chopped parsley.

Notes

Feel free to swap the ground beef for turkey or a meat substitute. Best served immediately but can also be meal prepped and frozen.
