Description
A glorious combination of cheesy goodness and burrito bliss that takes only a few steps to whip up.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1 cup cooked white rice
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup nacho cheese sauce
- 1/4 cup chipotle sauce
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella
- 4 large flour tortillas
- Butter or oil for grilling
Instructions
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat for 8–10 minutes. Drain excess grease. Add taco seasoning and 1/4 cup of water and let it simmer for 5 minutes.
- Heat tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave for 10-15 seconds until flexible.
- Lay a tortilla flat and layer with cooked rice, seasoned beef, nacho cheese, chipotle sauce, sour cream, and top with cheddar and mozzarella.
- Heat a clean skillet and sprinkle 2 tablespoons of shredded cheese on the bottom. Place the burrito seam-side down and cook until golden brown, about 3–4 minutes per side.
Notes
Customize by swapping ground beef for turkey or tofu and trying different cheeses or sauces.
