Description

Juicy grilled beef tacos filled with marinated flank steak, topped with fresh herbs and a splash of lime.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb flank steak
  • 8 small tortillas
  • 1 cup fresh cilantro
  • 1/2 cup chopped onions
  • 1 lime
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp cumin


Instructions

  1. Marinate the flank steak in olive oil, garlic, cumin, salt, and pepper for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Preheat the grill to high heat.
  3. Grill the steak for about 5-7 minutes on each side or until cooked to your liking.
  4. Remove the steak from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing thinly against the grain.
  5. Warm the tortillas on the grill for about 30 seconds on each side.
  6. Assemble the tacos by placing sliced steak onto each tortilla and topping with fresh cilantro and diced onions. Squeeze lime over the top.
  7. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

For added flavor, consider using a mesquite or hickory charcoal grill.
