Instructions
- Prepare the Brioche Buns: Mix warm water, milk, sugar, and dry yeast in a bowl and let sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy. In another bowl, combine flour and salt, make a well in the center, and add yeast mixture, eggs, and soft butter. Knead until smooth and elastic. Let rise in a warm place for 1-1.5 hours.
- Shape the Burgers: Punch down risen dough, divide into equal parts, and shape into round buns. Let them rise for 30 minutes on a lined baking tray.
- Cook the Beef Patties: Season the beef with salt and pepper, shape into patties matching bun size. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook patties for 4-5 minutes on each side.
- Assemble the Burgers: After patties are cooked, place cheese on top for melting. Slice open buns, layer with lettuce, beef patty with cheese, red bell peppers, olives, pickles, and ketchup.
- Serve with Ruffled Fries: Enjoy your Halloween burgers with a side of ruffled fries.
Notes
Make the buns a day in advance and freeze for convenience. Experiment with different toppings to customize your burgers.
