Description

A sweet and savory side dish of glazed carrots that brings elegance and vibrant color to any meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound carrots, peeled and cut into sticks
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix the melted butter, brown sugar, honey, salt, and pepper.
  3. Add the carrot sticks to the bowl and toss until they are well coated.
  4. Spread the carrots in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  5. Roast in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until tender and caramelized, stirring halfway through.
  6. Remove from oven and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Store leftover glazed carrots in an airtight container for 3-4 days. They can also be frozen for up to 2 months.
