Description

Delightful mousse domes that combine festive gingerbread flavors with a luscious coffee mousse, perfect for the holiday season.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup brewed coffee
  • 1 cup gingerbread cookies, crushed
  • 1/2 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • Chocolate glaze or shell for topping (optional)


Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form.
  2. In another bowl, combine the brewed coffee, crushed gingerbread cookies, mascarpone cheese, sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, ginger, and nutmeg. Mix until well combined.
  3. Gently fold the whipped cream into the coffee and gingerbread mixture until fully incorporated.
  4. Spoon the mixture into dome molds, smoothing the tops with the back of a spoon.
  5. Freeze the filled dome molds for at least 240 minutes or until set.
  6. Once set, carefully remove the mousse domes from the molds.
  7. Drizzle or dip each dome in a chocolate glaze or shell for a polished finish.
  8. Serve chilled and enjoy your festive dessert!
