A fun and creative craft to make delicious Stay Puft Marshmallows, perfect for Halloween or any festive gathering.
Ingredients
- Large marshmallows
- White chocolate
- Vegetable shortening
- Powdered sugar
- Black edible marker
- Candy eyes
Instructions
- Start by melting the white chocolate combined with vegetable shortening in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals until smooth.
- Dip the bottom of a large marshmallow into the melted white chocolate and place it on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Stack two additional marshmallows on top of the first to create the torso and head of the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man.
- Coat the entire marshmallow structure with the remaining melted white chocolate.
- While the white chocolate is still wet, attach candy eyes to the marshmallow creation.
- Sprinkle powdered sugar on top of the marshmallow structure.
- Once the chocolate has hardened, use the black edible marker to draw a smile on the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man.
Notes
Store the marshmallows in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. Avoid refrigeration to keep the chocolate glossy.
