Ingredients
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 2 cups fresh spinach
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce (optional)
- ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- Lemon wedges, for serving (optional)
Instructions
- Gather all the ingredients.
- Rinse the broccoli florets and fresh spinach in cold water.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add chicken pieces to the skillet, seasoning with salt and pepper, and cook for 5 to 7 minutes until browned and cooked through.
- Add minced garlic to the chicken and cook for an additional 1 to 2 minutes until fragrant.
- Toss in broccoli florets and stir-fry for 3 to 4 minutes until bright green and crisp-tender.
- Add fresh spinach and cook until wilted, about 1 to 2 minutes.
- If desired, drizzle soy sauce and sprinkle red pepper flakes, stirring to combine.
- Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
- Serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side.
