A simple and delicious recipe for tender beef bites and baby potatoes, all cooked in a rich garlic butter sauce.
Ingredients
- 1.5 pounds Beef stew meat (Cut into bite-sized pieces)
- 1 pound Baby potatoes (Halved)
- 4 tablespoons Unsalted butter (Melted)
- 3 cloves Garlic (Minced)
- 1 teaspoon Onion powder
- 1 teaspoon Smoked paprika
- 0.5 teaspoon Dried thyme
- 0.5 teaspoon Dried rosemary
- 0.5 teaspoon Salt (Or to taste)
- 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper
- 0.25 cup Beef broth
- 1 tablespoon Olive oil
Instructions
- Gather all ingredients and cut the beef into bite-sized pieces.
- Optional: Parboil the baby potatoes for a few minutes.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the beef bites until browned.
- Combine melted butter, minced garlic, onion powder, smoked paprika, thyme, rosemary, salt, and black pepper in a small bowl.
- Place halved baby potatoes and seared beef in a slow cooker, pouring the garlic butter sauce over the top along with the beef broth.
- Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours or on high for 3 to 4 hours.
- Let the dish rest for about 10 minutes before serving.
Notes
For added flavor, consider searing the beef first. Use fresh spices for the best results.
