Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons butter, softened
- 1/2 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
- 4 slices of bread
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese blend
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix softened butter, garlic powder, and dried parsley until well combined.
- Spread the garlic butter mixture on one side of each slice of bread.
- Place two slices butter-side down in a skillet and add half the cheese on each.
- Top with the remaining bread slices, butter-side up.
- Heat the skillet over low heat and cook for 4 to 5 minutes per side until golden brown and the cheese melts.
- Remove from pan, slice, and serve immediately.
Notes
For a fancier bread option, try sourdough or brioche. Feel free to experiment with different cheeses and add herbs for extra flavor.
