Description

A quick and delicious chicken pot pie casserole that feels gourmet and is easy to prepare.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, corn)
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup grated cheese (optional)
  • 1 package refrigerated biscuit dough


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the chicken, mixed vegetables, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  4. If desired, sprinkle the grated cheese on top of the chicken mixture.
  5. Cut the biscuit dough into quarters and arrange the pieces evenly on top of the filling.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and cooked through.
  7. Let it cool a bit before serving.
