Description

A quick and comforting beef stroganoff made with ground beef, mushrooms, and creamy goodness, perfect for any day.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Egg noodles or rice, for serving


Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add chopped onion and garlic to the skillet, cooking until soft.
  3. Stir in sliced mushrooms and cook until they are tender.
  4. Sprinkle flour over the mixture and stir well to combine.
  5. Slowly add beef broth while stirring to avoid lumps.
  6. Stir in sour cream, soy sauce, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  7. Simmer for about 5–10 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  8. Serve over egg noodles or rice.

Notes

Avoid overcooking the onions and garlic and ensure to use beef broth for the best flavor.
