Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cups cooked egg noodles
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, warm the olive oil. Add the ground beef, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon.
  2. Once the beef is cooked through, add the chopped onion and minced garlic. Sauté until the onion is translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet and cook until tender, about 5 minutes.
  4. Pour in the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and Dijon mustard. Stir well and let the mixture simmer for about 5 minutes.
  5. Lower the heat and stir in the sour cream until well combined. Heat through but do not boil.
  6. Add the cooked egg noodles to the skillet, tossing them in the creamy sauce until evenly coated.
