Ingredients
- 8 oz pasta (like fettuccine or spaghetti)
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 large onions, thinly sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Gruyère cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente, drain and set aside.
- Melt butter and olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add onions and cook until caramelized, about 15-20 minutes.
- Stir in minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
- Pour in beef broth and let it simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Add heavy cream and cooked pasta, stirring well to coat.
