A fun and quick twist on the classic Big Mac flavors, perfect for family meals.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, finely diced
- 1/2 cup dill pickles, chopped
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 4 hamburger buns
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tbsp yellow mustard
- 1 tbsp sweet pickle relish
- 1 tsp white vinegar
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and diced onion until the beef is browned and the onion is tender. Drain any excess fat.
- Stir in chopped dill pickles, salt, and black pepper. Cook for another 1-2 minutes.
- In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, ketchup, yellow mustard, sweet pickle relish, and white vinegar to make the secret sauce.
- Add half of the secret sauce and shredded cheddar cheese to the beef mixture. Stir until the cheese is melted and everything is well combined.
- Spoon the Big Mac sloppy joe mixture onto toasted hamburger buns. Drizzle with remaining secret sauce and top with extra pickles, if desired.
Notes
Toast the buns for a nice crunch and try adding a dash of hot sauce to the secret sauce for extra heat.
