Description

A fun and quick twist on the classic Big Mac flavors, perfect for family meals.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, finely diced
  • 1/2 cup dill pickles, chopped
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp yellow mustard
  • 1 tbsp sweet pickle relish
  • 1 tsp white vinegar
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and diced onion until the beef is browned and the onion is tender. Drain any excess fat.
  2. Stir in chopped dill pickles, salt, and black pepper. Cook for another 1-2 minutes.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, ketchup, yellow mustard, sweet pickle relish, and white vinegar to make the secret sauce.
  4. Add half of the secret sauce and shredded cheddar cheese to the beef mixture. Stir until the cheese is melted and everything is well combined.
  5. Spoon the Big Mac sloppy joe mixture onto toasted hamburger buns. Drizzle with remaining secret sauce and top with extra pickles, if desired.

Notes

Toast the buns for a nice crunch and try adding a dash of hot sauce to the secret sauce for extra heat.
