Description
A super simple and delicious recipe for Beef Stroganoff that is quick and comforting.
Ingredients
- 1 lb beef sirloin, sliced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 tbsp flour
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Egg noodles or mashed potatoes for serving
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat some oil over medium heat. Add the sliced beef and cook until browned.
- Remove the beef and set aside. In the same skillet, add onions and garlic, and sauté until translucent.
- Add the sliced mushrooms and cook until they release moisture.
- Sprinkle the flour over the mushroom mixture and stir to combine.
- Gradually add beef broth, stirring until thickened.
- Stir in sour cream and return the beef to the skillet; heat through.
- Season with salt and pepper, and serve over egg noodles or mashed potatoes.
Notes
