Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cups mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 8 ounces egg noodles
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil


Instructions

  1. Cook the egg noodles according to package directions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and cook until translucent.
  3. Add the garlic and mushrooms, cooking until the mushrooms are tender.
  4. Add the ground beef to the skillet, cooking until browned. Drain excess fat.
  5. Sprinkle the flour over the beef mixture and stir to combine.
  6. Gradually add the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce, stirring until the mixture thickens.
  7. Reduce heat and stir in the sour cream. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Serve the creamy beef mixture over the egg noodles.
