A comforting and creamy one-pan Beef Stroganoff that’s quick and easy to prepare.
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cups mushrooms, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 8 ounces egg noodles
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Cook the egg noodles according to package directions; drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and cook until translucent.
- Add the garlic and mushrooms, cooking until the mushrooms are tender.
- Add the ground beef to the skillet, cooking until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Sprinkle the flour over the beef mixture and stir to combine.
- Gradually add the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce, stirring until the mixture thickens.
- Reduce heat and stir in the sour cream. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve the creamy beef mixture over the egg noodles.
Notes
This recipe is versatile; serve over egg noodles, rice, or mashed potatoes. Can be substituted with ground turkey or chicken.
