Ingredients
- 1 lb beef (sirloin or tenderloin), cut into strips
- 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 tbsp flour
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Egg noodles or mashed potatoes for serving
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Cook beef strips until browned, then set aside.
- Add onions and mushrooms to the skillet and sauté until softened.
- Add minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
- Stir in flour and cook for 1-2 minutes.
- Gradually whisk in beef broth and Worcestershire sauce. Bring to a simmer.
- Reduce heat and stir in sour cream. Add beef back to the skillet, and let everything combine.
