A simple and flavorful beef burrito recipe perfect for quick weeknight dinners.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
- 2 large tortillas
- 1 cup lettuce, shredded
- 1 tomato, diced
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup salsa
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: diced onions, avocado, or jalapeños
Instructions
- Preheat your skillet over medium heat and add the ground beef. Cook until browned and crumbly, seasoning with salt and pepper.
- While the beef is cooking, warm the tortillas for about 20-30 seconds in the microwave or in another pan.
- Set the tortillas on a clean surface, layer with cooked beef, cheese, lettuce, tomato, sour cream, and salsa.
- Roll the burritos tightly by folding the edges inward and rolling away from you.
- Serve immediately with your choice of sides or additional toppings.
