Ingredients

  • 1 pound beef sirloin, sliced into thin strips
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish
  • Egg noodles for serving


Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the sliced beef and cook until browned. Remove the beef and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, cook the onions until soft. Add garlic and mushrooms, sautéing until tender.
  3. Sprinkle flour over the mixture and stir well.
  4. Gradually add the beef broth while stirring until the sauce thickens.
  5. Lower the heat and mix in the sour cream. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Return the beef to the skillet and combine. Heat through.
