Effortless and flavorful teriyaki chicken made in a slow cooker, perfect for busy nights.
Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs chicken thighs or breasts
- 1 cup teriyaki sauce
- 2 cups broccoli florets (optional)
- 1 cup sliced bell peppers (optional)
- 2 cups cooked rice or noodles for serving
- Sesame seeds for garnish
- Green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Place chicken in the crockpot.
- Pour teriyaki sauce over the chicken.
- If using, add broccoli and bell peppers.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- Shred the chicken and mix back into the sauce.
- Serve over rice or noodles and garnish with sesame seeds and green onions.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container for 3-4 days in the refrigerator or freeze for up to 2 months. Reheat with a splash of water or additional teriyaki sauce.
