Delicious low-carb turkey meatballs served in a rich and creamy sauce, perfect for a comforting dinner any night of the week.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic (minced)
  • 2 teaspoons parsley (fresh or dried)
  • 1 3/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese (cut from the block)
  • 1 teaspoon salt (for sauce)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to broil.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, egg, salt, pepper, minced garlic, and parsley.
  3. Roll the turkey mixture into meatballs approx. the diameter of a quarter.
  4. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat and brown meatballs on all sides until fully cooked.
  5. Remove meatballs and drain excess grease from the pan.
  6. Pour in heavy cream, add Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper, stirring until the sauce thickens.
  7. Gently add the meatballs back into the sauce, coating them well.
  8. Transfer the skillet to the broiler for a few minutes to achieve a slightly browned top.
  9. Garnish with parsley and a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese before serving.
