Delicious low-carb turkey meatballs served in a rich and creamy sauce, perfect for a comforting dinner any night of the week.
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic (minced)
- 2 teaspoons parsley (fresh or dried)
- 1 3/4 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese (cut from the block)
- 1 teaspoon salt (for sauce)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to broil.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, egg, salt, pepper, minced garlic, and parsley.
- Roll the turkey mixture into meatballs approx. the diameter of a quarter.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat and brown meatballs on all sides until fully cooked.
- Remove meatballs and drain excess grease from the pan.
- Pour in heavy cream, add Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper, stirring until the sauce thickens.
- Gently add the meatballs back into the sauce, coating them well.
- Transfer the skillet to the broiler for a few minutes to achieve a slightly browned top.
- Garnish with parsley and a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese before serving.
Notes
Serve with zucchini noodles, salad, or steamed vegetables for a complete meal.
