Description

A creamy, delicious slow-cooked pasta dish featuring tender chicken breasts in a heavenly garlic Parmesan sauce.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breasts
  • 8 oz pasta (penne or rotini)
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish


Instructions

  1. In a crockpot, add the chicken breasts and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Add minced garlic and chicken broth over the chicken.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or until the chicken is cooked through.
  4. Remove the chicken, shred it, and return it to the crockpot.
  5. Stir in the heavy cream and pasta, and cover again, cooking on low for an additional 30-40 minutes until the pasta is tender.
  6. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and well combined.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley.
