- 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced

- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions
- Prep the Ingredients: Mince the garlic and squeeze the lemon juice into a measuring cup. Reserve some lemon zest if desired.
- Sear the Chicken: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high flame. Season chicken with salt and pepper, sear until golden brown on both sides, about 5 minutes per side.
- Layer in the Crockpot: Transfer seared chicken to the crockpot, top with minced garlic and capers.
- Add the Liquids: Pour chicken broth and lemon juice over the chicken ensuring even coating.
- Season: Sprinkle Italian seasoning over the mixture and stir gently to combine. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours.
- Make the Sauce: Remove chicken from the crockpot and whisk butter into remaining juices until melted and thickened.
