A creamy, comforting dish that combines shredded chicken and fettuccine in a rich Alfredo sauce, made effortlessly in a crockpot.
Ingredients
- 2 cups shredded chicken
- 8 ounces fettuccine pasta
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a crockpot, combine the shredded chicken, heavy cream, butter, and minced garlic.
- Cook on low for 4-5 hours.
- About 30 minutes before serving, cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions, then drain.
- Stir the cooked pasta into the crockpot along with the Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper.
- Mix well and cook for an additional 15 minutes.
- Serve warm, garnished with chopped parsley if desired.
Notes
For extra cheesy flavor, mix in some mozzarella along with the Parmesan. Consider using rotisserie chicken for faster prep.
