Description

A rich, creamy beef stroganoff made effortlessly in a crockpot, perfect for lazy cooking days.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound beef stew meat
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 cups beef broth
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 12 ounces egg noodles
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish


Instructions

  1. Place the beef, onion, garlic, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, mushrooms, salt, and pepper in the crockpot.
  2. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
  3. About 30 minutes before serving, stir in the cream cheese until melted and well combined.
  4. In a separate pot, cook the egg noodles according to package instructions.
  5. Once the noodles are cooked, drain and add them to the crockpot along with the sour cream. Stir until combined.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
