Description

A comforting and creamy beef stroganoff that cooks itself in a crockpot, perfect for busy days.


Ingredients

  • 2 pounds Beef Sirloin or Chuck
  • 1 medium Onion, diced
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 8 ounces Mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 cups Beef Broth
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon Mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 cup Sour Cream
  • 2 tablespoons All-purpose Flour
  • 12 ounces Egg Noodles or Rice
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Parsley, chopped (optional)


Instructions

  1. Cut beef into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Dice the onion and mince the garlic.
  3. Slice the mushrooms.
  4. In the crockpot, combine beef, onion, garlic, and mushrooms.
  5. Add beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper. Stir well.
  6. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours.
  7. About 30 minutes before serving, mix flour and sour cream together and add to the crockpot.
  8. Cook egg noodles or rice according to package instructions.
  9. Once thickened, serve stroganoff over noodles or rice and garnish with parsley.
