Description
A comforting and creamy beef stroganoff that cooks itself in a crockpot, perfect for busy days.
Ingredients
- 2 pounds Beef Sirloin or Chuck
- 1 medium Onion, diced
- 3 cloves Garlic, minced
- 8 ounces Mushrooms, sliced
- 2 cups Beef Broth
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 tablespoon Dijon Mustard
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
- 1 cup Sour Cream
- 2 tablespoons All-purpose Flour
- 12 ounces Egg Noodles or Rice
- 2 tablespoons Fresh Parsley, chopped (optional)
Instructions
- Cut beef into bite-sized pieces.
- Dice the onion and mince the garlic.
- Slice the mushrooms.
- In the crockpot, combine beef, onion, garlic, and mushrooms.
- Add beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper. Stir well.
- Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours.
- About 30 minutes before serving, mix flour and sour cream together and add to the crockpot.
- Cook egg noodles or rice according to package instructions.
- Once thickened, serve stroganoff over noodles or rice and garnish with parsley.
