Ingredients
- 4 chicken breasts
- 1 cup sun-dried tomatoes (packed in oil)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
- In a bowl, mix together sun-dried tomatoes, heavy cream, chicken broth, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the mixture over the chicken.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or until chicken is tender.
- Serve over pasta, rice, or mashed potatoes, garnished with fresh basil.
Notes
Avoid skipping the sun-dried tomatoes and using low-fat cream for best flavor. Feel free to add vegetables like spinach or bell peppers.
