A delicious and easy Crock Pot Beef Stroganoff that cooks itself while you relax, featuring tender beef in a creamy sauce served over egg noodles.
Ingredients
- 2 pounds beef stew meat
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 8 ounces egg noodles
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- In the crock pot, combine beef, chopped onion, minced garlic, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
- Cover and cook on low for 7-8 hours or high for 4 hours until the beef is tender.
- About 30 minutes before serving, cook egg noodles according to package instructions.
- Stir sour cream into the beef mixture before serving.
- Serve beef stroganoff over egg noodles and garnish with fresh parsley.
Notes
For an alternative, you can use chicken instead of beef or substitute Greek yogurt for sour cream.
