Description
A comforting and easy slow cooker beef stroganoff that requires minimal effort and delivers maximum flavor.
Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs beef stew meat
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 cups egg noodles
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- In the crockpot, add the beef stew meat, sliced mushrooms, chopped onion, and minced garlic.
- In a bowl, mix together the cream of mushroom soup, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Pour this mixture over the beef and veggies in the crockpot.
- Cover and cook on low for 7-8 hours or high for 4 hours.
- 30 minutes before serving, cook the egg noodles according to package instructions.
- Once the beef is done, stir in the sour cream until fully blended.
- Serve the beef stroganoff over the cooked egg noodles and garnish with fresh parsley.
Notes
For a vegetarian version, replace beef with mushrooms and increase mushroom content as needed.
