Description

A comforting and easy slow cooker beef stroganoff that requires minimal effort and delivers maximum flavor.


Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs beef stew meat
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups egg noodles
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • Fresh parsley for garnish


Instructions

  1. In the crockpot, add the beef stew meat, sliced mushrooms, chopped onion, and minced garlic.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the cream of mushroom soup, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Pour this mixture over the beef and veggies in the crockpot.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 7-8 hours or high for 4 hours.
  4. 30 minutes before serving, cook the egg noodles according to package instructions.
  5. Once the beef is done, stir in the sour cream until fully blended.
  6. Serve the beef stroganoff over the cooked egg noodles and garnish with fresh parsley.

Notes

For a vegetarian version, replace beef with mushrooms and increase mushroom content as needed.
