A creamy, comforting pasta dish made in the slow cooker with minimal effort.
Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 packet Italian dressing mix
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup cream cheese
- 8 oz angel hair pasta
- 1 cup chicken broth
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts in the Crock Pot and season with salt and pepper.
- In a bowl, mix the Italian dressing mix, cream of chicken soup, and cream cheese until smooth. Pour this mixture over the chicken in the Crock Pot.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- About 30 minutes before serving, cook the angel hair pasta according to the package instructions.
- Once the chicken is cooked through, shred it in the sauce.
- Serve the creamy chicken mixture over the cooked angel hair pasta and garnish with parsley if desired.
Notes
For creamier sauce, keep cream cheese at room temperature before mixing.
