A simple yet delicious crock pot recipe featuring chicken smothered in cream cheese and Italian dressing mix, served over angel hair pasta.
Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 packet Italian dressing mix
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup cream cheese
- 8 oz angel hair pasta
- 1 cup chicken broth
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts in the crock pot.
- In a bowl, mix together the Italian dressing mix, cream of chicken soup, cream cheese, and chicken broth.
- Pour the mixture over the chicken.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 4-6 hours.
- When cooked through, shred the chicken in the sauce.
- Cook the angel hair pasta according to package instructions.
- Serve the chicken and sauce over the pasta and garnish with fresh parsley.
Notes
Feel free to use thighs instead of chicken breasts for a juicier option. This recipe is also adaptable with different types of pasta.
