A delicious and easy Crispy Chicken Caesar Sandwich, featuring golden fried chicken, crispy lettuce, and creamy dressing on a toasted brioche bun.
Ingredients
- 2 pieces boneless skinless chicken breasts (about 6–8 oz each)
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 0.5 tsp paprika
- 0.5 tsp salt
- 0.5 tsp black pepper
- 2 eggs (whisked)
- 0.25 cup milk
- 0.25 inch vegetable oil (for frying)
- 2 brioche buns or ciabatta rolls (toasted)
- 0.5 cup romaine lettuce (chopped)
- 2–3 slices tomatoes
- 0.25 cup parmesan cheese (shredded)
- 0.33 cup Caesar dressing
- 2 tbsp garlic mayo (optional)
- Handful croutons (optional)
Instructions
- Pound the Chicken: Pound the chicken breasts to even thickness and pat them dry.
- Coat That Chicken: Dip the chicken in the egg mixture, then dredge in seasoned flour.
- Fry It Up: Heat oil in a pan and fry the chicken for about 6–7 minutes on each side, or air-fry at 380°F for 12–15 minutes.
- Toast Those Buns: Lightly toast the buns while frying the chicken.
- Assemble the Sandwich: Spread Caesar dressing on the bottom bun, add chopped romaine, crispy chicken, tomato slices, and sprinkle with parmesan.
- Top It Off: Optionally add garlic mayo and croutons, then place the top bun on.
- Serve and Enjoy: Serve warm and enjoy your delicious sandwich!
Notes
Pat dry the chicken to avoid sogginess. Preheat the oil before frying for best results.
