Ingredients
- 2 lbs pork ribs (baby back or spare ribs)
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 2 teaspoons onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil or cooking spray
Instructions
- Prepare the ribs by removing the membrane from the back for tenderness.
- Rinse and pat the ribs dry with paper towels.
- In a small bowl, combine garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
- Rub the spice mixture evenly over the ribs. Marinate for at least 30 minutes or refrigerate overnight.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Lightly coat ribs with olive oil or cooking spray.
- Place ribs in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are not overcrowded.
- Cook for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Check that the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C) for safety.
- Let the ribs rest a few minutes before slicing and serving.
