Description

Succulent, crispy ribs cooked to perfection in an air fryer—no barbecue sauce needed! Perfect for weeknight dinners or gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs pork ribs (baby back or spare ribs)
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Prepare the ribs by removing the membrane from the back for tenderness.
  2. Rinse and pat the ribs dry with paper towels.
  3. In a small bowl, combine garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
  4. Rub the spice mixture evenly over the ribs. Marinate for at least 30 minutes or refrigerate overnight.
  5. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  6. Lightly coat ribs with olive oil or cooking spray.
  7. Place ribs in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are not overcrowded.
  8. Cook for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  9. Check that the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C) for safety.
  10. Let the ribs rest a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3-4 days in the refrigerator or freeze for up to 2 months.
