A comforting and creamy white chicken chili perfect for cold evenings and gatherings.
Ingredients
- 2 cups shredded chicken
- 2 cans white beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cheese, avocado, or tortilla chips for serving
Instructions
- In a slow cooker, combine the shredded chicken, white beans, diced onion, minced garlic, chicken broth, cumin, chili powder, and a pinch of salt and pepper.
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
- About 30 minutes before serving, stir in the heavy cream.
- Serve hot with toppings of cheese, avocado slices, or tortilla chips.
Notes
Use rotisserie chicken for quick preparation. For added heat, include diced jalapeños or hot sauce.
