Description

A hearty and creamy steak and potato soup that comes together in less than an hour, perfect for a comforting meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb steak, cubed
  • 4 potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for cooking
  • Fresh parsley for garnish


Instructions

  1. In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the cubed steak and brown on all sides.
  2. Toss in the chopped onion and minced garlic, sautéing until the onion is translucent.
  3. Stir in the diced potatoes and beef broth. Bring to a boil and then reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 15-20 minutes until the potatoes are tender.
  4. Mix in the heavy cream and season with salt and pepper to your liking.
  5. Cook for an additional 5 minutes and serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
