A quick and delicious dish that combines chicken, creamy sauce, and rice for an easy meal.
Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked rice
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup shredded cheese (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large skillet, cook the chicken breasts over medium heat until browned and cooked through, about 7-8 minutes per side.
- In a mixing bowl, combine cream of chicken soup, sour cream, chicken broth, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until blended.
- Pour the sauce over the cooked chicken in the skillet.
- Cover and simmer for about 10 minutes until heated through.
- Serve the creamy chicken over the cooked rice.
- Top with shredded cheese if desired.
Notes
Can be made ahead of time and stored in the fridge. Freezes well; reheat before serving.
