Ingredients
- 2-4 Chicken breasts
- 1 can Cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup Chicken broth
- 1 cup Rice (white, brown, or your choice)
- 2 tablespoons Butter
- 1 medium Onion, chopped
- 2-3 cloves Garlic, minced
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- Parsley, optional
Instructions
- Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Sauté chopped onions and garlic until soft.
- Add chicken breasts and cook until browned on both sides.
- Pour in cream of chicken soup and chicken broth; stir to combine.
- Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Simmer for 15-20 minutes until chicken is cooked through.
- Meanwhile, cook rice according to package instructions.
- Serve the creamy chicken mixture over rice, garnished with parsley if desired.
Notes
For a healthier version, add more veggies like peas or bell peppers. You can also substitute chicken for turkey or tofu.
