Description

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Italian sausage (hot or sweet)
  • 4 medium potatoes (diced)
  • 1 onion (chopped)
  • 2 carrots (sliced)
  • 2 celery stalks (chopped)
  • 4 cups chicken broth (low sodium if desired)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • Optional: parsley (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. In a large pot or Crock Pot, brown the Italian sausage over medium heat.
  2. Add the onion, carrots, and celery, sautéing until the vegetables are tender.
