Description

A comforting dish featuring juicy chicken thighs, rich cream, and savory Parmesan cheese, perfect for weeknight dinners or special occasions.

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken thighs
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for searing
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Season the chicken thighs with salt and pepper.
  3. In an ovenproof skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat and sear the chicken thighs for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  4. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  6. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  7. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  8. Return the chicken thighs to the skillet, spooning the sauce over them.
  9. Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.
  10. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Ensure the chicken thighs are well-seasoned for the best flavor. Do not skip the searing step; it adds a nice golden color and flavor. Pair it with a fresh garnish for enhanced presentation.
