Description

A delicious and satisfying meal option with juicy chicken thighs in a creamy garlic herb sauce.


Ingredients

  • 4 chicken thighs
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Season the chicken thighs with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  2. Add chicken to the skillet and cook until browned and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side. Remove chicken and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine. Let it simmer for a few minutes until slightly thickened.
  5. Return the chicken to the skillet and coat with the sauce.
  6. Stir in chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

Make sure to season the chicken generously with Cajun seasoning. Adjust thickness of the sauce by cooking longer or adding more cream. For a lighter version, use half-and-half or whole milk.
