Description
A delicious and satisfying meal option with juicy chicken thighs in a creamy garlic herb sauce.
Ingredients
- 4 chicken thighs
- 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Season the chicken thighs with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Add chicken to the skillet and cook until browned and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side. Remove chicken and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine. Let it simmer for a few minutes until slightly thickened.
- Return the chicken to the skillet and coat with the sauce.
- Stir in chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
Make sure to season the chicken generously with Cajun seasoning. Adjust thickness of the sauce by cooking longer or adding more cream. For a lighter version, use half-and-half or whole milk.
